		<description>I wish I had found this post while going through a similar struggle with my son!  We have made it to successful exclusive breastfeeding anyway, but would have been nice to read your story when I was in the depths of despair.

I have to say that I wish I had been better prepared for how challenging bf can be. I understand that it does come easily to some women and that there in an interest in the lactivist community to encourage bf by extolling its virtues, but I think more women would stick with it in the face of difficulties if they had been better prepared for them.</description>

		<description>i am so, so very happy that you&#039;ve shared your story! why when my kids are 6 1/2, 4 1/2, 2 &amp; all weaned? because breastfeeding isn&#039;t always easy and there&#039;s so, so much to learn. and us moms have to (HAVE TO) tell each other these truths. or else we run the risk of feeling isolated and uninformed, giving up and bashing ourselves and/or (quite often) other moms. so thank you. truly.</description>
