Oh poor thing!!!
is it mosquito season?
Poor kiddo! That looks awful!
ugg. My 20 mo old woke up itching the back of his head A LOT! I wonder if it was just mosquito’s or something else.
What is that?
TELL ME ABOUT IT!! my kids were never great sleepers and right now it’s even worse with the scratching/itching!!! poor kiddos!
Mosquitoes and black flies. Lots of them. And 2 year old necks are evidently delicious.
Oh no! I want to jump through my computer and (((hug)))
OH my goodness! That does not look comfortable at all!
Poor thing! What are you putting on it? My oldest gets bites and scratches like crazy until she makes them bleed.
Oh dear. That hurts just looking at it. Poor little kiddo.
Poor kid! I HATE nature.
wow! ouch!
We’ve been having the same problem – my 21 mos old’s neck and behind her ears look very similar. They don’t even seem to notice when they are getting bit and then scratch like crazy all night!
Hi,
It was nice to meet you last night!:)
Ouch! That looks painful! I hope you have calamine lotion.
This is a shot of my neck! (Well, it could be.) The poor thing…
Blackflies are EVIL! Try calamine lotion, it soothes the itch, and promotes healing. Be prepared for the pink chalky coating though! that’s how it works.
We live in the woods too… in the same general area. And yep, same thing happening here. Poor, poor kiddos.
