BlogHer ’09

by phdinparenting on March 11, 2009 · 10 comments

It is official. I’m going to BlogHer ’09. I heard today tickets were about to sell out, so I bought mine. Can’t wait! For the record, I expect to fly there and take a cab to the hotel and conference to avoid any overzealous arrests for traffic violations.

So who else is going?

I’ll be there! I won my ticket from the Queen of Spain, and bought my own train ticket. I’m hoping to find a hotel room sponsor to pay for my hotel room!

So excited about all the great people I’ll get to meet!

Have a GREAT time!! Sounds like there will be so many connections to be made and people to meet. I have two clients due at the end of July. Can’t imagine they would be happy with me skipping the country on them. Oh well. Can’t wait to read what you write as a result of that great time!!

@robin – From what I hear, it is a great place to learn what you need to do to become a “real” blogger. That is what I am going for. To learn.

I’m still mulling it over… I’m in Michigan, so it would be just a train ride away. Not sure I can leave my girl, though.

We’ll see what develops… I’d love to meet you though!

@robin – I know they have childcare available (it was one of the questions on the registration – i.e. do you need it). I’m not sure what the policy is on kids/babies in the sessions, but I would imagine it is flexible, especially in the mommy blogging sessions. There is probably more info on that on the conference site.
