Why Time-Outs Don't Work (Wordless Wednesday)

This post used to contain a great comic from Pooch Cafe. However, they only allow their comic to be shared free of charge on the day that it is in the paper. So, since you are coming across this later and since I don't have the money to pay for you to view the comic, let me summarize it for you:

  • Frame 1: Master ties his dog to a tree and tells him that he needs a time out to think about what he did

  • Frame 2: Dog is standing alone tied up next to the tree with a blank stare on his face

  • Frame 3: Dog gets a smile on his face and thinks "GENIUS!!"

I thought that summed it up why time-outs don't work pretty well. Sorry I couldn't share the comic with you.
